Common attorney workflows

• QME panel review. Filter by state + specialty to pull the credentialed QMEs your client may draw from. Cross-reference against the DWC roster before objecting to a panel.
• Treating physician change requests. Your client wants out of the carrier-designated MPN. Pull the MPN page and identify accepting-new-patients providers within driving distance, then file the change request with three named alternatives instead of one.
• Defense-side IME / utilization review. Find board-certified specialists by specialty + region. Each listing shows credentials and accepted networks.
• Settlement valuation. Use the city-level provider counts as a baseline for access-standards arguments — most state WC boards weigh provider density when assessing MPN sufficiency.

What we don't do

We don't refer cases, take attorney leads, or rate physicians on deposition history. The directory is free to all searchers; we don't charge attorneys for access and we don't sell your search history to medical-legal vendors.

We're not a substitute for a state QME query or a verified WC roster — for binding documentation, use your jurisdiction's official board. Use this directory for the part of your workflow where you want fast filterable data without a login.

Provider data quality

Listings are checked quarterly against state licensing boards and the DWC public MPN roster (where one is published). The methodology page details our verification cadence and how to report a stale listing. Last review cycle finished within the last 90 days.

Provider credential changes flagged by our editorial team (specialty re-certifications, QME panel additions, network changes) update within 5 business days. Listings the team can't verify within 6 months get flagged as "verification pending" on the public card.

Reporting a listing problem

Email support@workinjuryproviders.com with the provider name + the discrepancy. Common reports:

• Provider listed as accepting new WC patients but the office confirmed they're closed to new claims
• MPN affiliation shown is out of date (provider has joined or left a network)
• Address or phone number has changed since our last review cycle

We re-verify within 2 business days, attach a note to the listing, and update the public card. No login required to submit; the email triages directly to the editorial team.
